Effect of Unsaturated Fatty Acid Omega-3 on Some Biochemical Criteria in White New Zealand Rabbits Administrated with Cyclosporine Drug

The present study was aimed efficiency to evaluate the unsaturated fatty acid omega-3 in reducing side effects that resulted from administration of cyclosporine drug white rabbits. (60) males' rabbits were used this study, divided into four groups contain (15) per group and its subdivision three (5) group. first is orally administered with normal saline, second (25mg/kg) only. Third on day (500mg/kg) day, while Fourth (1000mg/kg) for periods (21,30,60) days respectively. After ending periods, animals sacrificed blood collected results shown following: Administration (25mg/kg)only led a significant increase(P<0.05) total cholesterol, triglycerides low-density lipoprotein(LDL) decrease(P<0.05) high-density lipoprotein(HDL).whereas interaction (500&1000mg/kg) all showed decrease (p<0.05) decrease(p<0.05) lipoprotein(HDL), non-significant difference lipoprotein(HDL).
